Introduction:

The purpose of this paper is to review those decisions rendered by the Court of Appeal for Newfoundland and Labrador between the time-period of January 1, 2022,   to December 31, 2022, which involved criminal causes or matters.  The key to using this paper is the index.  It has been cross-referenced so that each decision can be located by a page number based upon its subject matters.

In 2022, the Court of Appeal for Newfoundland and Labrador considered a number of issues involving criminal law, including the admissibility of evidence, reasonable apprehension of bias, and stereotypical reasoning.
